About The CEO
Hi, my name is Lanre Ikuesan and I am the founder CEO of Aritek consulting Ltd. I am married and have 2 wonderful kids who are my biggest inspiration and motivation.
I am vastly experienced in the software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodology, scrum and Kanban frameworks. I have coached, mentored and helped place many immigrants in the UK, France and Finland in lucrative software development positions. I currently have students and protege from all across Europe, Canada and the USA.
My Story
I graduated from MUT Tralee, Ireland with a Bachelor degree in Business and Information Technology and Also from HAMK University of applied sciences, Finland with Bachelor of Business Administration with Major in marketing both in 2010 and 2011 respectively. At that time it was extremely difficult for immigrants in Finland to secure professional jobs matching their skill set or education.
I ended up working in restaurants, and doing other types of menial jobs to keep up with the bills. While working as a cleaner in a company one day, I overheard the staffs complaining about a malfunctioning database and the problem had crippled their operations for the day. I offered to help believing that by showing my competence they upgrade my status in the company. I resolved the issue and surprisingly got fired the following day. Reason being that I had become a security risk to the company.
I went ahead and acquired more skills and certifications in software development(Business Analysis, Software Testing, Project Management[Agile, Prince2, Waterfall] and scrum master). I have since worked and delivered several reputable projects for some of the biggest brands in the UK and in Finland. I also have helped to place a good number of immigrants in UK, Finland and France to lucrative software development positions and still continue to do so.
